Cocking of a poppet-disc prosthesis in the aortic position. A cause of intermittent aortic regurgitation
WJ Hammer, MJ Hearne and WC Roberts
Intermittent aortic regurgitation due to cocking is described for the first
time after replacement of the aortic valve with a poppet-disc prosthesis. A
combination of disc grooving and strut thrombus produced the cocking with
resultant aortic regurgitation.
