This case report describes the long-term follow-up of a patient who, at 7
weeks of age, underwent surgical correction of infradiaphragmatic total
anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR) to the inferior vena cava.
Fourteen years after operation, the patient has normal anatomy and nearly
normal hemodynamics. The difference between this type of infradiaphragmatic
TAPVR with posthepatic drainage is compared with the more common type which
drains prehepatically.
