Patch enlargement of the cardiovascular flow tract with neither flow occlusion nor extracorporeal circulation

A wire-guided knife has been developed for right ventricular outflow reconstruction without the use of bypass circulation or flow occlusion. The technique has been applied successfully in two patients with tetralogy of Fallot and one patient with coarctation of the aorta.
