Thoracic surgical implications of the yellow nail syndrome

Idiopathic lymphedema associated with yellow discoloration of the nail beds
constitutes the yellow nail syndrome. Pleural effusions and chronic
sinusitis are also frequently present. This report describes a case of
yellow nail syndrome in a 65-year-old woman.
